Almond Butter

Serves: 1.5 cups

Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

2 cups of raw almonds

1 ts sea salt

METHOD:

Spread the almonds out onto a baking tray and put into a preheated oven for about 10 minutes on 140c, keep an eye on them so they don't burn!

Remove from the oven when slightly browned, sprinkle sea salt over the top, and let them cool a little.

Tip the tray of almonds into your food processor, blend on medium/high until the oils from the nuts "split" and you have a butter-like consistency.

TIPS:

If it's just starting to come together but looks a bit dry, don't worry just keep it going and it will all come together! Once you have the consistency you want, put it into a jar and you're done!
